Advent & Lent Family Lessons are designed to share our beautiful Catholic traditions and empower parents to share their faith at home, growing together in faith with their children.

Advent lessons are shared at the start of Advent and continue through the Epiphany.  A brief refection of the activities that were done at home is due the second week in January.

Prior to the start of Lent, the Lent lessons are shared and the reflection is due the week of class after Easter.  As an example of an activity for almsgiving, families could participate in the Lenten Mite boxes and offer alms for the Pontifical Mission Society. This year, $411.95 was collected by our families!  As one student mentioned in their reflection, "The activities brought me closer to God because I gave up bad things and did good things during a time when Jesus made sacrifices for us."
